C’est juste l’offre et la demande, arm’s length transactions between willing buyers and sellers. C’est contre intuitif, mais apres des annees de secheresse et une annee sans aid, ou les gens ont du reduire leur troupeau pour subvenir a leurs besoins, mnt tout le monde veut reconstruire son troupeau, car ils peuvent les nourrir gratuitement. Il y a donc la demande de l’aid, plus la demande des eleveurs, et peu doffre. Il nya pas de formule ou de feelings sur le prix que doit couter un mouton, simple supply and demand dynamics.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.

I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.

It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.

Given that most AI value is in the US, and that AI usage is worldwide, the impact on other countries will be even catastrophic if this scenario becomes reality. What’s worse, there is no clear safe heaven or alternative. Except maybe #bitcoin.

Since October, any random person can upload child porn to Bitcoin's blockchain. Doing so means everyone until the end of time who wants to use Bitcoin would be required to engage in child porn distribution.

Bitcoin depends on a supermajority of the economy using their own full nodes. Nobody is likely to do so if it requires distributing child porn, nor should they. Furthermore, distributing child porn is highly illegal and probably would make running a node require a heavily regulated license.

The solution is the Reduced Data Temporary Softfork (RDTS, aka BIP444 aka BIP110), which immediately prevents such an attack. It is currently being deployed, and activates as soon as a majority of miners have upgraded.
