@mariofusco Our grandchildren will be amazed to listen to our stories of the past in which you couldn’t charge your car at home but had to drive to special car-fueling station. ‘But what if your car was empty before finding a fueling station??’-they’ll ask. They’ll have fuel-station anxiety!

@mariofusco Also getting an EV that drives straight from Milano to Napoli without charging won’t be a problem in a few years - but most consumers will decide to prefer a cheaper, lighter car that needs to charge one or twice over hauling all those batteries with them 365 days a year.

@mariofusco And in all likelihood by 2040 you’ll have to order fuel over the internet anyway if you still want it. Doubt they deliver right on the highway on August 1st 😀

@mariofusco Because it can be avoided by spreading travel over more dates, deviating a bit from highways when charging, increasing capacity, etcetera. Maybe it’s inconvenient, maybe it’ll be solved. But to reject mass-EV adoption for events like these that occur a handful of times/yr is odd.
