For my sister Natalie.
She just completed chemo, after being diagnosed February last year. Triple negative breat cancer.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Its a great cause for cancer research.

Labhair mé faoi logainmneacha & chúrsaí teanga & Ainmleabhair na Suirbhéireachta Ordanáis - ba bhochtaide ar fad an tuiscint a bheadh againn ar logainmneacha na hÉireann gan na foirmeacha Ga a chuir Seán Ó Donnabháin (1806-61) agus a chomhoibrithe leo.

Mapmaking was once a dangerous pursuit. Take Richard Bartlett (some of his maps pictured) who accompanied English armies into Ulster to chart newly colonised lands, but in 1609 he was beheaded in Donegal because, “the inhabitants would not have their country discovered.”
Wonderful view of cars and pedestrians from Nelson's Pillar O'Connell Street Dublin.

Supplementation with cocoa flavanols slowed age-related inflammatory markers by 8.4%.
Elevated inflammatory markers such as C-reactive protein (CRP) are strongly tied to cardiovascular disease. Cocoa supplementation has been shown to lower cardiovascular mortality by 27% over 3.6 years. There are also signals of a benefit for blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, and even eye health.
This new study of nearly 600 older adults, followed for 2 years, found that daily supplementation with 500 mg of cocoa flavanols lowered high-sensitivity CRP, a key marker of chronic, age-related inflammation ('inflammaging'), by 8.4% per year compared to placebo. The benefits were most pronounced in people with higher inflammation at baseline, in women, and in those with diabetes.
Other inflammatory markers (like IL-6 and TNF-α) didn’t change, pointing to a specific effect on CRP.
Cocoa flavanols aren’t a magic bullet, but they may help dial down the silent inflammation that builds with age, offering one possible explanation for their cardiovascular benefits.
