@HistoryOt I saw her there. Great to have a presence on the www

[annie turner @eann_turner]

Maybe her bio would make interesting reading too? I visited the school in Argentina many years ago. It was fabulous to see the places where she’d taught

[OT History Matters @HistoryOt]

@OTinretirement Agree. Macdonald was one of the most significant #OTHistory makers. Yet forgotten by organisations she founded and developed in UK, although not at 50th anniversary in Argentina. Sadly reputation is ephemeral. A salutary lesson for today.

Ha! That was a long time ago. Glad you still have the Casson card - it’s a beautiful rose and still going strong in my garden. JDI! Absolutely

[Bhawna Sharma @Bhawna04Sharma]

@ElizabethCasso1 @eann_turner @OTinretirement It was an absolute pleasure to receive this! Can’t wait to read it.. brought back so many uni memories.. thank you @eann_turner for all your support with my dissertation.. I still have the “Casson” rose card and I remember the phrase that got me through “just do it” 😊

@jcreektv We must have been members for about the same length of time Jennifer- but there comes a time ….. enjoy retirement

[annie turner @eann_turner]

@Keirwales @OTinretirement @theRCOT @ElizabethCasso1 Well done Keir! Yes the Trust commissioned the badges some years ago. Did you know the Trust originally commissioned the lecture too? All past EC lecturers we could contact were offered one. Wore mine, with pride, recently when we met EC’s great nieces. Great ice breaker. Enjoy!

[annie turner @eann_turner]

@HistoryOt Thanks. Except it’s a bit the wrong way round isn’t it?🤦🏼‍♀️ should be the contextual tail wagging the theoretical dog! But you got the just 👍🏻

[annie turner @eann_turner]

@HistoryOt Only the summary is in English too isn’t it? Sorry. Will get to it asap

[annie turner @eann_turner]

@HistoryOt The reference I found was in the Argentinian OT journal, which is in both Spanish and English. I’ll check it out and send it over

[annie turner @eann_turner]

@HistoryOt Great thanks 😊

[annie turner @eann_turner]

@HistoryOt No problem. I typed in what I thought it was ( I speak Spanish) and think I’ve found it😉. Haven’t had time to read it yet but will do. Thanks
