Chris Johnston: Re Frederik Andersen/Hurricanes: This has just become home for him; I do think that there's gonna be a longer term fit for him with the Hurricanes - That's Hockey (6/1)
This is absolutely a tough way to lose... but it could be a lot worse.
Great resolve by the boys to at least get themselves out of the situation that THEY put themselves in.
Vegas are just capitalizing on our mistakes.
Flush it and move on...
Game 4 is now a MUST WIN!
@HasbullaCane The lack of energy in the building before puck drop combined with that cornball ass theatrical shit they do in the beginning...
We have to win bro...
Come on...
It's still too early for me to look at this series as "in danger". Winning in Game 4 regains home-ice advantage heading back to Raleigh.
Super proud of the boys for sticking with it. Many previous groups would have packed it in.
Just an absolute kick in the dick...
@hurricanesmill@ksuvet68 I might be butchering it but in pregame media for a game against Detroit Rod alluded to a fondness of Larkinβs game. He mentioned that the look at him the year we took Haydn Fleury, but the FO ultimately went with Fleury. What could have been can be resolved this summer.
WHICH ONE DID THE CANES SIGN????
Cal Foote signed an AHL deal with the Chicago Wolves, but has no contract with the Canes. Canβt be called up. Canβt play for the Canes. Not a Hurricane.
Do more research next timeβ¦
It is so bleakly NHL that the only two teams to sign players from the Hockey Canada Five wind up in the Stanley Cup Final not even a year removed from their acquittal. This is hockey culture. Sweep it under the rug and trod all over it.
