A6: It's that saying, "It takes a village". If it hadn't been for the village the situation(s) would have been a lot worse with which to deal! #LCSbookclub
A4: T's journaling definitely got deeper as the book progressed. Growth could be seen in T and as a reader, I was able to see multiple sides of his issues allowing me to also grow as a person in ethical dilemmas. #LCSbookclub
A2&3: I can totally understand why TImothy stole and for such a noble reason. If mom, while she's a good mom, would accept help I think it would have been a different outcome. #LCSbookclub
A7: Having began my teaching career in CPS & reading this bk I could make connections to the Ss behavior back then. I'm glad that I am out of there but w the change in our demographics it is important to keep my learning from this book in the forefront of my mind. #LCSbookclub
A7: My lens was definitely widened. I enjoyed the POV in which this book was written. You could also see deliberate word choice. I now realize that I need to step back and consider more perspectives when addressing Ss and their concerns/behavior. #LCSbookclub
