My brother and his 5 friends survived a horrific crash caused by a drunk driver thanks to the outstanding safety engineering of his Tesla Model Y. The car is a total loss, but he is alive — especially meaningful as he and his wife have a newborn and had just paid off the vehicle. @RealRotator @Tesla @elonmusk @bberkayerden I don't exactly know how traffic insurance policies work in US or rest of Europe probably not much different from here in Türkiye but I'm not sure if it was on hold for payment or gets invalid in a week for not renewing it.

@Subaruman1974 @Tesla @elonmusk @bberkayerden what fake post are you talking about mate? videos are from same parked car and people seen are my brother and his 5 friends, they're also seriously hospitalised. other vid is from Istanbul municipality's impound lot which they later transferred it to Tesla service for analysis.

@Emre_Gunaydin @Tesla @elonmusk @bberkayerden Gönderide yenisini yollayın diye birşey mi yazılmış? Ki zaten böyle bir uygulama da yok. Bu tür kaza vb. durumlarda çoğu kişi bunları Tesla'nın ilgili ekiplerine, mühendislerine ve bu konularla ilgilendiği için Elon Musk'a görülebilirlik için ulaştırmaya çalışma çabası var.

@RealRotator @Tesla @elonmusk @bberkayerden Glad you made it alive from yours too, but the post isn't about begging for a handout or anything, yes unfortunately insurance was due 1 wk. They need to see how tough it is getting hit by a high speeding driver w alcohol, saved by their own car being a barrier btwn them.
