It’s not the snap.

Just look at the trajectory of his kicks from last year until now.

Up until about 2 years ago, the ball would explode, seemingly up and up, only to be stopped by the net behind the uprights. His kicks used to slam into the netting.

Now the ball looks very regular off his leg, curling and hooking a bit, without the pop. Falling and fading into the netting.

The leg isn’t there and (speculation time) his accuracy is suffering as he tries to account for that or the overall loss of power makes it more susceptible to wind and weather and variables like snap and hold.
