I’ve been investigating the russian refinery for days now and the story gets darker and darker. The shipments are sent to Siberia, smelted, and sold to the russian company ‘ASK’. This company distributes aluminium directly to Russia’s missile & drone manufacturers.
Once again, russia targets those trying to help.
This time, the terrorists attacked @RedCrossUkraine mission vehicles with a drone.
This is not the first attack on humanitarian workers in Kherson: on May 14, the enemy struck a UN vehicle.
Blatant, deliberate terrorism.
Then in 2022, Aughinish Alumina was given €2.1 million in public funding to treat the 'red mud' waste product site. Seriously, what the hell is going on?
The Irish public subsidized the Russian Aluminium industry after Russia invaded Ukraine. This is appalling!
3/3
Remember victims of Russian invaders.
On this day in 2023, Russian terrorists killed a 4-year-old Dmytro Babenko.
Russian orcs shelled the central part of Bilopillia with artillery. Dmytro and his father Roman were killed.
Eternal memory. 🕯
Never forget. Never forgive.
This is 2-year-old Oleh and his mother, Maryna. Russia killed them in Dnipro on June 2nd when russian missile struck their apartment building🕯💔
The attack also kilked Maryna’s partner, Yuriy, and 13 of their neighbors.
💔 Kherson. Absolute pain.
A man breaks down in tears, screaming over a murdered relative.
They were just making a stop at a gas station.
We don't hate russia enough.
Irish politicians are avoiding questions about Aughinish. Patrick O’Donovan refuses to answer my calls. The refinery is in his constituency
He says the Russian owned plant is not connected to Russia’s war machine, without showing evidence. They want this to blow over. It won’t
Every day, ships leave this russian owned factory in Ireland straight for St Petersburg carrying thousands of tonnes of raw alumina for the war machine.
There’s corruption everywhere. Locals tell me politicians are bought by oligarchs.
Ireland is no longer militarily neutral.
Hey, western commie!
Nothing makes me laugh harder than a guy or a girl tweeting about "great communism" from a $1,400 phone, in a 3-bedroom suburban house, with a fridge full of food.
Comrade.
You would not survive week one.
And here is why.
In the USSR you couldn't just quit your job to "find yourself." Not working was a crime. Literally. They called it "social parasitism." They put the future Nobel laureate Joseph Brodsky on trial for it. Your podcast about late-stage capitalism would've gotten you five years.
You picture yourself as a commissar. You'd be in a queue. Three hours. For maybe bread. The commissars were a tiny elite with their own shops, their own hospitals, their own everything. You weren't invited. You'd be the guy informing on his neighbor for an extra ration.
That brave political take you posted today? In 1949 USSR deported 20,000+ people to Siberia in three days for a lot less - for just being LOCALS. Whole families. Children. Cattle cars. You'd have lasted until your first "actually Stalin was misunderstood" reply landed in front of the wrong person.
The gulag wasn't an edgy metaphor. Roughly 18 million people passed through it. Unpaid labor, -40°C, digging canals nobody needed. But please, tell me more about how you'd "organize the workers" from the group chat.
Things get bad and you want to leave? You can't. There's a wall. There are dogs. There are guards who shoot. The whole design was that you couldn't go.
The people romanticizing it from a comfortable suburb can always book a flight home. People in the USSR couldn't even move to the neighbouring city without permission.
So wear the Che shirt. Read rge Red Book by Mao. Enjoy the iPhone he'd have confiscated, the internet he'd have banned, and the free speech that lets you praise the exact system that would have shot you for using it.
Some of us actually remember how it went.
russia launched 73 missiles and 656 drones of various types at Ukraine during the night.
There are already reports of fatalities in various cities across our country.
russia is a country of death and terrorism.
russians must bear responsibility for the actions of their country.
For weeks, Irish politicians have dodged questions about the refinery in Ireland supplying Russia’s war machine.
So I tracked down government minister Niall Collins at a farming show.
He refuses to back sanctions & his stance was worse than I expected.
Avoidance.
Russia has been attacking Kyiv throughout the night.
At least fourteen people injured.
Residential buildings, a medical facility, a service center, and vehicles have been damaged.
#Russia systematically uses torture and deliberately withholds medical care from Ukrainian prisoners of war, which constitutes a violation of the Geneva Conventions and a war crime.
According to Olena Kondratiuk, Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, around 7,000 Ukrainian prisoners of war are currently being held in Russian captivity. Between 10,000 and 20,000 Ukrainian civilians are also detained. More than 95% of Ukrainian prisoners of war are subjected to torture and cruel treatment in Russian captivity.

Tens of thousands of Georgians pour in on Day 545 of #GeorgiaProtests to mark the Independence Day and to protest the Russian regime in Georgia.

Russia attacked Ukraine with 2 ballistic missiles and 122 drones last night.
Relentless attack on Ukrainian civilians don't cease for a day.
