@andrewparker933@levelsio@yeahscience yearly Lira savings interest rate in banks is about 50% right now for instance. if you are betting on Lira strength and if you are right you can make a lot of money through carry trade as many do. but it is very easy to get wiped out in a couple days as things change fast.
@andrewparker933@levelsio@yeahscience for the last 12 months, the extreme currency devaluation is "on hold" through sky high interest rates. this is temporary, Lira is being propped up because the bottom literally fell out. 10x devaluation in a few years. so Turkey is temporarily expensive in dollar terms yes.
@lexi_lambda@answrguy Maybe a graph database? ArangoDB comes to mind. You have objects (free or with schema), and you have edges between them (also objects, can have schema and data within). You traverse and aggregate them however you wish. Arango web interface can do it all (saved queries can go far)
@MatGienieczko @GergelyOrosz Wonder what separates talented people and exceptionally talented people regarding this particular set of "talents". Like, could we watch them on stage organising stuff, setting their priorities all under pressure and just enjoy it?
@Divlo_FR @anuraghazru This taxes the compiler quite a bit and has a size limit for input (recursive type limits are quite tight in TS) but yes, I'd love it if TS had a built in way to emit _some_ type related code for runtime. There are workarounds though for keeping it DRY.
