@AaronBastani@patrickkmaguire Not sure that's true. The numbers suggest they were gifted their landslide by Reform, might actually be the case that with fewer grievances those voters float back to the Tories and paradoxically cost Labour their majority.
@BonkyDev B makes everything else in the room pop a bit more, everything looks very vibrant and interesting.
BUT, it depends what vibe you're going for. If the hair salon is supposed to be very relaxed and cosy, maybe A would fit better.
Being scared is okay . I’m scared . @JustStop_Oil are scared . @XRebellionUK are scared . What isn’t okay is failing to do anything about it . Worse still is deliberately stopping people from doing anything about it . That’s where the fight needs to be focused - Big Oil/BigAg
@weareyellowdot
@mattzarb Pretty much. All these "spiritual leaders" are political figures really, unelected ones at that. It's not like regular Christians elect the Archbishop of Canterbury, or regular Jews the Chief Rabbi or Board of Deputies.

My latest article is about something as simple as finding eco-friendly hand soap... hope to have so many of these types of articles that you could make your weekly shopping list out of them! https://t.co/uIbXFTaff1
@GeorgeAylett As long as no one grasses it should be fine. Any sensible political party would have to withdraw membership status from people who campaign against their own candidates.
@SpaJw He wanted to do the hard work of governing and right wing Labour MPs derailed 2 general election campaigns and celebrated when they lost. And this was *after* compromising and giving the Labour right top jobs in cabinet (something Starmer hasn't done for the left)
I’m baffled by the think pieces from lefties talking about how we start building a party alternative to Labour, that largely dismiss the Greens. We’ve a party with a block of English MPs to the left of Labour, 1st time in living memory. The building has already started. Join us!
@AyoCaesar Third the birth rate in this country is below replacement.
There is a big overlap between these people who want a 2 child cap & want lower immigration. Is it their long term plan for the UK to age itself out of existence or something?
@yimbychris @RobBryher Does yes in my back yard mean yes to flammable cladding? Yes to porous concrete used in our schools? How about asbestos? These are the questions we must ask people who proudly wear the label YIMBY. Deeply unserious, incurious mindset that led to the disasters of the past.
@RobBryher @yimbychris not really worth engaging with someone so proud of being a "YIMBY" they have it in their actual twitter handle. The "build first ask questions later no matter what" crowd have some insane takes.

I wrote to @CSkidmoreUK about the danger of supporting his government's authoritarian anti protest laws back when he was my MP. He supported them anyway. I wonder how he feels about today's news given his rebirth as someone who "cares" about the climate?
If you can get more time in prison for doing a zoom call about peaceful protest than you can for violent crime, why not just be violent? The establishment have engineered a situation where violent direct action might become more commonplace in politics than peaceful protest
