Since March I’ve been at my husbands bedside while he was on a ventilator and unconscious.

I prayed over him. I filed his nails. I moisturized his feet. I helped the nurses with many of their duties. On Mother’s Day, I bought christening gifts for our future children he will never meet. I slept at the rails of his bedside.

That’s love. Rest in paradise my angel. I can’t wait until I see you again.
