The United States has been leading the fight against climate change – and today I’m proud to announce two more investments that will continue this work while lowering energy costs for hardworking families.
@melissajenna Skunks are the 2nd largest rabies reservoir after bats and the most common transmitter to pets in many states so to all the commenters…. please don’t pet a skunk! Even if it is cute and friendly!
@KatePri14608408 We recently had this and my 3yo daughter had a fever for 12 days (!) and was very sick and we were worried. So sad to see this come across my timeline this morning.
@JoelTH @Sheep_in_fog Wow, who knew! I’ve always struggled with anemia and am back on infusions. I thought iron deficiency made you more immunocompromised? This study would show the opposite.
@jeffgilchrist The more I learn about cool mist humidifiers the more I think they are just bad all around. The risk of burns with newer heater units seems low (risk must be weighed with children) but we got the humidifier flu from our old ultrasonic one and promptly threw it out!
@Albaplena1 @lizb_2010 @AttorneyCrump This isn’t quite true- somewhere between 15-30 percent of babies survive at 22 weeks, but that doesn’t change the fact that this one wasn’t going to and she did absolutely nothing wrong.
"We proof buildings for earthquakes that happen once every 50 or 100 years. We invest millions.
Why can't we do the same thing to make sure that our buildings are proofed against natural hazards like airborne pathogens?"
@zalaly on the urgent need for clean air #HELPLongCovid
@johnffarrell Love a good blower door but 2000sf is not that big? They should be running a manual j anyway. Is your ailing furnace functional enough to keep as backup? Maybe get a second opinion on specifics but if you’re getting a cold climate hp I can’t imagine many days would need backup
@Lawmamabear1 My productivity tanked then and never recovered. The no kids vaccines plus the airline thing around this time made me fully realize that everything is for the economy and not for the people.
@LoppyRae@arakkisuperstar Flossing is not evidence based so while you may have had other areas where you were not keeping up with dental hygiene, you shouldn’t feel ashamed about not flossing.
@arakkisuperstar flossing also can be actively harmful due to a high percentage of floss that contains PFAS, which is proven to be absorbed into the bloodstream through flossing
