18/ One of my last works of 2023 was “The 13th Jinling Beauty” which was part of SZN1 of @earthtmc group collection. This collection is especially beloved because it is with some of my earliest friends in the web3 /crypto art scene. People who love the art for the art and are here for the friendships and contributing to the tech-driven contemporary art scene we are creating.

The theme for the group collection was Muses and so mine was inspired by my wife who I have been w/ for nearly 21 years at this point - crazy to realize it’s been that long! 🧡

I employed a number of techniques to create this work that I hadn’t really used before in this way (noise and distortion, traditional frame animation for the eyes opening and closing) and then of course a growing part of my workflow since summer 2023 of using texture boosting via 3D.

Open to offers but in the end I may just vault this one, make a print of my favorite still, and commission a @matr_lab oil painting for my house since it has such sentimental value.

This multimedia #poem is inspired by the concept of the muse and one of my favorite pieces of Chinese literature “The Dream in the Red Chamber” by Cao Xueqin.

If the collector does the buy now option (1.11 ETH), they qualify to receive a physical oil painting in collaboration with/ @matr_lab of a still frame from the work of the collector's choice.

If the collector acquired the work via reserve auction (.111 ETH reserve), they qualify for a museum quality print from @Scaleupart in San Francisco.
