The anticipated increase in vaccine supply in Ontario is terrific news
But I worry that the rapid, province-wide expansion in age eligibility will further exacerbate inequities given a booking system that favours the affluent, able, tech-savvy, and English-speaking
Covid-19: 15-30% of people are ill for 5 weeks or more. Federal + Ontario sick days = 4 weeks 3 days. Precarious workers, low income & racialized people are less likely to have sickness benefits. If they are not sacked, they will have to go back to work sick or suffer financially
