On 16th Sept, Lamorna Hooker will talk to us about the work of St Mungoโs - the charity that works on recovery from homelessness so that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. The meeting will take place on Zoom at 19:30.
Thanks to Wendy for an interactive talk about foraging. Who knew Silver Birch sap has anti-ageing properties and Dandelion roots can be dried and roasted as a coffee alternative. We will be keeping our eyes peeled when out and about next for what we can forage! ๐ณ #wildlife

Huge thanks to Karen for her moving story of being an organ donation family and how the tragic death of her husband meant eight other people were given a second chance at life.

What an enthusiastic talk from Tim Mitchell this evening. Tim is a Lighting Designer and gave us an interesting talk on his carer & the history of theatre lighting. We learnt the origins of 'in the limelight', a spotlight created by heating lime with an oxygen & hydrogen flame.๐ก
