In Ms. Khan's own words: "I had something which I cannot buy with money. It's student love. So this was my biggest gain from being at Eastern, and you loved them and you'd get the love back. That was my wonderful thing that I learned here.”

In Ms. Khan's own words: “It became more. My life other than teacher was basketball. So I learned what these people wanted. Support. Appreciation. So I had to go see their games. As many as I could, I went to see their games to support them."

With a heavy heart, we have learned that Nobuko Khan has passed away. Ms. Khan was a teacher at Eastern from 1989-2007. Ms. Khan was an integral part of the Eastern Commerce Saints’ basketball program, helping student-athletes achieve academic success.
