Anyone who bet on “Will #Israel launch a major ground offensive in #Lebanon by March 31?” on #polymarket - let’s coordinate #complaints. This is #fraud by omission. Comment and repost. Working on aggregating #evidence and sources..
Something serious is happening on @Polymarket right now.
This is NOT just another market.
This is a test of whether the platform actually follows its own rules.
Market:
“Will Israel launch a major ground offensive in Lebanon by March 31?”
Reality:
IDF official classification = “targeted ground operations”
Rule 4.9:
→ targeted raids are EXCLUDED from “major ground offensive”
So by definition, this should resolve NO.
But here’s the problem 👇
On @UMAprotocol people are NOT voting based on reality.
They are voting based on where the majority already is.
Why?
Because:
voting with the majority = safer financially
voting against it = risk of penalties
So what happens?
👉 Truth gets replaced by coordination
👉 Facts get replaced by incentives
Now add this:
A whale is heavily concentrated on YES
→ making the vote look “decided”
→ pushing others to follow
That’s not consensus.
That’s pressure + game theory
This is a critical test for @Polymarket new integrity rules for all of us @PolymarketTrade
They just announced transparency and expansion toward the US market.
But if a ~$60M market resolves YES while:
IDF says “targeted operations”
rules explicitly exclude those actions
Then what are we even doing?
You cannot claim:
“rule-based resolution”
and then let:
👉 whale-weighted voting override definitions
This is bigger than one trade.
If this resolves incorrectly:
trust is broken
rules become meaningless
Polymarket loses credibility
Polymarket can’t allow a false result to pass.
And if it does?
Then this isn’t a prediction market anymore.
It’s just a liquidity game.
Facts > narratives
Rules > whales
Reality > votes

What would people think if the @Polymarket market were manipulated by itself and by Whale, where the one who didn't win manipulates the market and ignores its own rules?@elonmusk I should look at this
Dispute: "Will Israel launch a MAJOR ground offensive in Lebanon?" 🚨
Rule 4.9: Only 'limited raids' confirmed, NOT a major offensive.
UMA manipulation by whales.
@Polymarket REFUND!
@Polymarket / DISPUTE ALERT: @Polymarket#Polymarket#UMA
Market: "Will Israel launch a major ground offensive in Lebanon by March 31?"
The UMA Oracle is being manipulated. A "Major Offensive" is defined by 1,000+ ground forces ENTERING Lebanese territory SIMULTANEOUSLY.
