@RollingHedge There’s probably an argument to be made that all the daft policies being pursued by various UK govts have only been possible because they could always use ‘Brexit’ as a cover for when those policies went tits up - as they have done.
@DanRosiak Hard work and focus matter - so does talent. Whether it’s physical or cognitive it doesn’t matter. No matter how hard I trained I’d never beat Usain Bolt; and not matter how hard I study I’ll never be as good at maths as Tao.
@NicholasTyrone Dare I say we need more of it? The expectation that politics should be polite and passionless only works when everyone largely agrees with each other. Democracy flourishes when there is passionate disagreement.
@PeterGrantSNP I think you really don’t understand what being pro-British is all about. Maybe if you spent more time listening instead of living in your own little, and bitter, echo chamber??
@tomhfh I remember it well. I felt shocked and disappointed with the result. But then the Remainer shenanigans over the negotiations turned me into a Brexiteer. Democracy was being challenged live on TV; our leaders debased themselves; EU leaders shows their true colours.
