So I’m putting on my tinfoil hat right now.

After watching Trump’s rigged election speech tonight I can’t help but think that this was a setup for something nefarious down the road to try and save himself during midterms.

I think he’s realized that after escalating the Iranian War he can’t get out of this before the November elections.

Even if he gets out of it in October the damage will have been done.

He knows if he loses the House and the Senate during midterms he’s likely toast and will most likely get impeached.

So now that the Iranian conflict is a disaster and not ending anytime soon he quickly pivoted towards “election fraud”.

The timing of this is just too coincidental for me.

Since we now live in a new era where the political class can do anything without any consequences why would Trump not believe he can’t continue the same games during the midterm elections?

I have no idea what he’d try and do but I bet he has a legal team on it looking at all options.

Could he call the election rigged and try and change how we vote or even worse: Call the whole thing off until the 2020 election is investigated?

Could he find ways to suppress certain parties from voting?

I have no idea how he’d do it but I do think he is going to try something.

No one’s been able to stop him on anything so why would he think the elections are any different?

I mean he pulled off the tariffs, day trades the markets, and ripped his supporters off on TRUMP coins.

He also started wars and attacked countries without congressional approval.

Why would he think he can’t meddle in the midterms?

Maybe in the end he can’t pull it off but it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he tried.

Remember, there are no rules anymore for the political class so anything is possible.

Perhaps this is why futures are dropping so violently tonight.
