can I say something? There were a few things that bothered me about this scene, and I’m not even referring to the 'epilogue boyfriend,' but rather to Will’s outfit and the setting. In my opinion, it all felt very out of character
in my head, it would have made much more sense if Will were wearing something closer to what he’s always shown he likes, maybe something with stripes or plaid. He’s finally a young gay man attending art school in a big city! I just want to say: 'Come on, kid, show yourself! Wear the clothes you want, show your artistic side and your sensitivity. You escaped Hawkins; you’re free from them!'
also, the fact that the scene takes place in a bar bugs me a bit because it doesn't really fit his personality. Not that he wouldn't go to bars, but it would make more sense if this encounter happened somewhere else. Will is a romantic... Maybe a museum, at the college itself, or even while he’s painting and his boyfriend walks in and puts his arms around his waist. Anyway, that scene just didn't feel like Will Byers at all

@ctrlpetal but anywho i think your argument would have more relevance if you would have argued that they were biting off a genre for the “trend” but to attribute a nonlatina to a latino dominated genre is iffy imo. let’s calm down now
@ctrlpetal okay first of all it is not that deep don’t call me a bitch, and second of all neoperreo is a subgenre of reggaeton so it’s not incorrect to label antifragile as a reggaeton song…
the other day i was listening to this song in my car and i almost crashed because i was crying so hard that i couldn’t see because it’s so gut wrenchingly good
