@AndrewHodgson3D How about access to global talent? Literally. With the right organization and different timezone workers, you can have a shop running 24/7.
BUT it's easier to manage people on sight. Managers are also pressuring boards to make their life easier, while sparing money on setups.

@motionpunk1 Word, being layed-off sucks, companies re-structuring have little respect for the leaving employees, companies values and empathy is often reserved for current employees, it's a roller-coaster of emotions, where people question their competence and professional value... it sucks!
