The Kremlin admitted it is in talks to import gasoline, a strange look for the world's second-biggest crude oil exporter.

Months of Ukrainian drone strikes have been hammering Russian refineries, and the home fuel market is cracking.

Putin himself admitted the shortage over the weekend, and rationing has already kicked in across several Russian regions and occupied Crimea.

A petro superpower lining up to buy fuel is the clearest scoreboard yet of what those drones are doing.
