🚨 Governor @gretchenwhitmer is now under fire after $19.5 MILLION in childcare subsidy money reportedly doesn’t match the enrollment numbers.

The state claimed roughly 15,000 children were helped… yet the spending totals appear far higher than what those numbers would support.

That kind of gap doesn’t just magically happen.

And this isn’t the first time Michigan taxpayers have been told to trust the process while millions — and even billions — flow out the door under Whitmer’s watch:

🔹Michigan’s SOAR corporate subsidy program spent nearly $1 BILLION for projected job creation numbers that critics say don’t justify the cost.

🔹Consumers Energy was approved for a $276.6 MILLION rate increase while families continue struggling with inflation and high utility bills.

🔹The University of Michigan received another $100 MILLION in public funding despite sitting on a reported $21.2 BILLION endowment.

🔹A 2026 Senate HELP Committee letter also flagged Michigan’s childcare assistance programs for having a 12.25% improper payment rate in FY2025 — among the highest in the country — raising concerns about fraud prevention and oversight.

Meanwhile, Michigan families are still dealing with:

➖ waitlists
➖ affordability issues
➖ and growing distrust in state government

Taxpayers deserve transparency, accountability, and answers.

Where did the money go? Who signed off on it? And why does it keep happening under the same administration?
