Country music and rap are more alike than you think. “All My Exes Live in Texas” is the same thing as “I Got Hoes in Different Area Codes” but society isn’t ready to have that conversation yet.
Bruh why does it look like a teenager accidentally rolled in through the door when the guards weren’t looking and is about to use this as a golden opportunity to hold up a sign with the URL to his mixtape on SoundCloud?
Someday I’m gonna write a book about the philosophy of comedy and how laughter and jokes are going to be what saves humanity from itself I really believe that ish
NBA deserves the bulk of criticism for the amateurism problem. If they didn’t require American guys to be 19 or a year removed from high school to be draft eligible, Zion would be in the league. Best solutions: change age, bolster G League, or allow players to profit off likeness
Look I know my last 2 tweets are aggressive but I’m sick of sugar-coating it. I feel like I’m watching the EXACT same delusional reasoning from some of these Dems that got Trump elected in 2016 unfold all over again. And it’s extremely frustrating.
I’m not even a fanatical Bernie bro but the liberal media machine has been WILD since he announced fam. One headline and a paragraph and we already have:
2 false equivalencies
4 straw man fallacies
At least 3 false dichotomies that I can count.
It boggles the mind.
@toujoursam (3/3) Like I left because I had some EXTREMELY painful memories back home. It had nothing to do with not loving the state. The decision itself was already emotionally taxing and guilt-inducing so I can’t feel guilty about that forever and no one should.
@toujoursam (2/3) We play a role too. Representing our state well and getting people to (hopefully) stop pathologizing Appalachia is sociologically important in the long run. But yeah, people shouldn’t get all this hate when leaving is just a decision some of us have to make.
@RachelNieman8r@AOC I mean you literally can’t do anything without them pulling some ad hominem attack on you. If she had the same policies but was wealthy with an Ivy League education they’d rip on her for that just as much you can’t win I guess
@RachelNieman8r@AOC Yah exactly: attacking her for her policies and cringy economics is one thing but she has worked hard and legitimately broken the mold as an outlier in a pretty homogenous institution so I don’t understand why that would be the hill her critics would choose to die on lolol
@RachelNieman8r@AOC I saw a tweet a bit ago that made a snide comment about her being a bartender, which I found ironic coming from the party that’s always pushing the whole “Work hard and pull yourself up by your bootstraps even if you have to work a minimum wage job with tips” narrative.
Look all I’m saying is that Squidwards band showing up for a surprise halftime show performance of the arena rock classic “Sweet Victory” is something the Rams could’ve really rallied around in the second half
Travis Scott and the Bubble Bowl reference almost saved this from being the most boring halftime show to match the most boring super bowl in my lifetime.
