@ask_aubry This to me is a sign of a dad who hasn’t dealt with his own issues. Working with youth I saw time and time again that the girls who had loving affectionate fathers who spent time with them did not go chasing after affection and attention from boys. His poor girls. 😥

@thepedipals I have a 3 year old with lots of medical trauma. He does best when he gets to be a doctor too. We got him Dr pj’s to wear to ER or appts. Drs let him use a stethoscope, put blood pressure cuff on them, bandaids, etc. to give sense of power equality.
