Small daily habits are so much more effective than massive changes
🙌 Reduce sugar
🙌 Reduce ultra processed food
🙌 Drink more water 🙌 Get to bed on time
Do this and you'll feel like a completely different person
Sound achievable?
By eating real food and eliminating unnecessary sugar, ultra processed foods and sugar laden artificial drinks you will give your body all of the nourishment it needs to thrive
I’ve eaten more junk this holiday season than I have in many years
It’s made me feel sluggish, given me headaches, joint pain and digestive issues
And it’s probably just 1 or 2% of what the average person, or old me, might eat
Time to get back on track
85% of the time (or being more lenient for 15%) may equate 2 small snacks per week, no more. That includes drinks and alcohol.
Or it could be a ‘cheat meal’ - which is one planned meal in a whole week, plus a drink, where you're not being as careful as usual.
Is it necessary to eat healthy food 100% of the time? 🧵
For anyone that wants a trim waistline then a healthy and nutritious diet is the main driver to get to that goal.
But just remember:
Friday night to Sunday night is one third of your week, so if you usually ease up on the nutrition for the weekend that's 33% of your week.
If you're trying to eat well and are not seeing a change in your waistline, that could be why!
By eating real food and eliminating unnecessary sugar, ultra processed foods and sugar laden artificial drinks you will give your body all of the nourishment it needs to thrive
If most people give up most of the ultra processed foods they consume then in a year most ailments would disappear and most waistlines would be smaller too
TODAY IS THE DAY!! Get back to the diet that keeps you healthy Clear away any ‘treats’ you have been indulging in or they could become a habit DO IT NOW👍
