@AezzieUwU Leadership runs to the roost, hardly the people. It's always been this way in the South at least. If the elites are progressive like they were at that time, so are the people. If the elites are only out for a buck, the people are hardly going to step in their way.
@AezzieUwU I think a large part of it is the party dichotomy people get themselves stuck into, especially in the South. We voted Democrat for 100 years because that's what we do. We're going to vote Republicans forever because it's what we do. People could hardly tell you why though.
@Saorsa1776 ones and that's coming from someone who is in Sumter.
I broadly agree with you however about how some of the campaigns this cycle have been too online focused. Lynch however has really moved mountains with his consistent on the ground campaigning.
Blessings, Eavan Reebel
@Saorsa1776 I'll say this, from my experience in watching this Senate race play out Mark Lynch is an incredible campaigner on the ground. I mean this man is everywhere and he stays at every event as long as he can to talk with folks. There are Lynch signs everywhere I go and almost no Graham
@KofCEnjoyer1492@AF_Insight And that's the genius of it from their ends. It's why the Republicans in the State House voted for it, so they can look good for this election. The State Senators here trade arrows with each other in killing issues, always "just enough" to kill something good.
@KeeganLowe6@AF_Insight I mean this is how Shane Massey gets elected as Majority Leader in the first place. It's not like most Republicans in the State Senate disagree with him lol. They protect their own and they'll trade who takes the arrows depending on the issue.
@KeeganLowe6@AF_Insight They'll probably have just enough votes to kill it, and those are the sorts of "sacrificial lambs" party leadership puts up. People will say they'll primary X and by 2028 everybody will have forgotten and party leadership will rally the cash to get their people back in.
@PT_Carolina30@MarkLynchSC Currently the government is saying guns>butter. He's not saying he wants lockdowns he's saying that when gas becomes squeezed people aren't really going to have a choice and like during the oil crisis back in the 70's they might put restrictions on buying gas to "preserve it."
@MedinaDalaiLama@DansForSenate@LindseyGrahamSC@MarkLynchSC If Lindsey gets less than 50% he will go to a runoff with the second highest voted candidates. Having multiple candidates in this case is not the worst being honest seeing as they are going to have slightly different bases of people and every vote counts to get Lindsey under 50%
@turknopff A terrible debate format to add on to that, the lighting, no one actually debated one another. I learned nothing from that debate. It was so short as well, or maybe I slept through something idk.
@SCHouseGOP Why are we helping the coastal elites first? Lower Taxes on the working class, on the property taxes for cars and fix our roads that we have to keep bringing our cars into the shop for before this. We can pass this but nothing else in this state. Wild.
