@karemooo75@ayladapo@muslimorthodoxy@GodLogic_GL In the sense of the original word being happy...yes. But that's not the topic. It's using gay as a name...not a meaning. I have an aunt named Gay. We aren't calling her a homosexual.
@IchimokuSatoshi@BrysonGray Blameless means blameless. If they weren't blameless then they couldn't bear the burden. But they were and they did. So what was Peter calling unbearable (not able to be walked in)?
@IchimokuSatoshi@BrysonGray I'm not making that claim. Peter said they COULD NOT BEAR it. Zachariah and Elizabeth DID BEAR IT. Only 2 outcomes here. Peter either lied...or he's referring to a different part of the Law of Moses. Zach kept ALL of it. Matthew explains the burden.
@IchimokuSatoshi@BrysonGray Nothing pertaining to how they were able to bear the burden of keeping the Law of Moses like you claim Peter is saying even he can't do.
@IchimokuSatoshi@BrysonGray None that actually explains anything. You keep referring to Acts 15 as if that explains away Zachariah and Elizabeth. It doesn't. So you have to explain that.
@IchimokuSatoshi@BrysonGray You're making the claim. You obviously see your dilemma and have no answer for it. So I'll let you sit on that for a while until it dawns on you. In the meantime Matthew and 1Kings will show you what the burdens were.
@IchimokuSatoshi@BrysonGray And I'm showing you that if it's just talking about keeping the Law of Moses then you have a problem. Because I showed you it not being a burden to two people. So what couldn't they bear?
@IchimokuSatoshi@BrysonGray I went back and read it. You never explained what the yoke was that couldn't be beared by Peter nor the Apostles, nor the fathers...that surprisingly Zachariah and his wife were able to.
@IchimokuSatoshi@BrysonGray Not until you answer what Peter was saying the Apostles nor their fathers could bear. If you're saying they couldn't bear the Law of Moses...you'd have to answer how Zachariah and his wife were able to. I'm addressing the text.
@IchimokuSatoshi@BrysonGray Nope. Zachariah and his wife are literally bearing what you're saying Peter nor the fathers could. If they could bear it then no one has an excuse and what Peter is saying makes no sense. Blameless means no willful sins. What couldn't they bear?
