I was sort of kidding but not really at the same time. We sell ourselves on this idea of mental health as if its an actual mental problem vs a simple perspective. Then the problem becomes real.
Therapy for example or a diagnosis will not be looking to rule something out rather look for why something IS the case.
Many times people are just going through a rough day or challenging time that is all external, but internally they sell themselves on the current feeling being their true identity. Ex: Feeling depressed = being a depressed person. Feeling Lonely = being lonely.
These mental blocks aren't real in many cases, they just represent an absence of something. Weak relationships, money, living in bad environment, friends, etc.
They just canโt help themselves to keep destroying our car. We were gonna have it towed today to fix but at this point weโre just gonna sell it to a tow company today. Guess Iโll be riding my motorcycle from now on! @Andjustice25979
