And Brie Larson performed a full gamut of emotions, brilliantly. I can't imagine what anyone imagines is lacking, but even if the film character were only ever cold/stiff that's a post-trauma landscape, and understandable.

@DrUpauli The question carries a negative and rude presupposition that there is something wrong with being quiet. The presupposition should be neutrally deflected or rebutted. Maybe "The notion that there's something wrong with being quiet is puzzling." Then trail off with silence? Ha.
