Following this exciting news, we had the privilege of participating in the Brand & Sport Summit 2023. It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss the innovative edge of blockchain-powered digital memberships and how they are reshaping the industry.
🤖 The entire session is now available online and thanks to groundbreaking AI technology, we've managed to dub the entire session from Turkish to multiple languages - French, Spanish, and English in just 15 minutes. The results are nothing short of remarkable!

Clubs are often a city's ambassadors, drawing fans, boosting tourism, and embodying local culture. Stadiums stand as their iconic monuments. Manchester United takes this to another level, turning it into a 24/7 living space and making it something spacial

America was founded to be the true successor of Ancient Rome.

But most don't know how deep the parallels run: from its grid plans to its constitution.

Here's why we still live in Rome — and why it won't collapse this time… (thread) 🧵

Pro sports club loyalty programs are not solving the biggest problem: the transition the non customer fan(95-99% of the total fanbase) into a paid customers.

This makes sports clubs one of most inefficient consumer businesses out there.

A major development in the mass ticketing market in Turkey...

[Avalanche🔺 @avax]

Tixbase and Passo secure largest blockchain ticketing deal to date, built on an Avalanche L1!

@Tixbase is setting out to transform ticketing with TixChain, their own L1 customized to fit their specific needs, including compliance with GDPR and data privacy laws.

@passo_com_tr has been a pioneer in Turkish ticketing as the official ticketing company for numerous prestigious events, including the Turkish National Team, UEFA Champions League, Europa League and many other concerts, festivals and sporting events. Passo’s premier ticketing platform now handles over 25M tickets every year 🫡

Building out a new ticketing system on-chain has a variety of benefits, including:

✅ Enhancing security and transparency of sales
✅ Loyalty and reward programs built in
✅ Reducing counterfeit and scalped tickets
✅ Secondary market revenue for sports teams and music IPs
✅ Digital assets packaged with content, merchandise and other fan experiences

All powered by an Avalanche L1 🔺

“The same boiling water that makes an egg turn hard will make a potato soft. So you need to dictate the environment and not let the environment dictate you.”

Tom Brady's video at the beginning of his roast really resonated with me. I am disappointed that it's not being shared enough! This is how it goes:

"The poorest way to face life is to face it with a sneer. Many men feel a kind of twisted pride in cynicism. It is not the critic who counts, nor the man who points out how the strong man stumbles.

The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, who strives gallantly, and whose face is marred by dust, sweat, and blood. He comes short again and again. But if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat."

What an incredible perspective on taking chances in life!

USDT @tether produced an estimated $6.2 billion in net income in 2023.

That's 78% of the number Goldman Sachs did ($7.9bn) and 72% of Morgan Stanley's ($8.5b).

They have ~100 employees. GS has 49,000. MS has 82k.

My favorite sports business story involves two brothers turning $1 million into $800 million as basketball team owners without ever owning an NBA team.

It's a masterclass in leverage, long-term thinking, and the power of equity and ownership.

Here's the crazy story 👇
