The Indus is combatng an extrmly scarcity of drinking & irrigation water. Ppl fetch saline water from hand pumps& deep wells.Also, many areas are free from these facilities.
It is challnging to visualize a life poorer than that of the ppl of Sindh.

The federal government must show more sensitivity to the water needs of Sindh, a lower riparian caught between dwindling water flow in Indus and the expanding ocean. Why should it wait for the protest in Sindh against the water shortage for increasing d supply?
