(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
How EMBARRASSING for Trump. CNN just played clips of President Zelensky thanking the United States on multiple occasions after Trump claimed Zelensky was ungrateful. Marco Rubio had no response! It’s worth a watch.
This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.
This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.
Zelensky has thanked Trump, Congress, and the American people many times.
But let's be clear: when Trump and Vance said that THEY are trying to help Ukraine right now, and need to be thanked for the work personally, there are reasons to wonder. 1/ THREAD
I think it is disrespectful to humiliate the President of the Ukraine which is fighting for its independence and survival against the Russian war of aggression when the government of the USA has not kept its promise of securities guaranties it gave in the Budapest Memorandum in 1994. Had Ukraine not given up its nuclear weapons then, it would need no support and no deal with the USA.
So, be humble and honest and fulfill your obligations before you lecture others!
@elonmusk If you don’t like the laws judges uphold ANYBODY knows your political party can file an amendment ANYTIME to an existing one which will be voted on DEMOCRATICALLY.
Taxpayers are like shareholders. We vote, and have a stake in USA. We should have the same rights as shareholders.
In the private sector, we have rules and procedures for corporations. These rules have legal ramifications when it is determined that an entity can no longer manage its own affairs effectively.
We are witnessing IN REAL TIME the initial assessment of the inability of the United States to manage its finances in the interests of taxpayers as the result of conflicts of interests and gross deficiencies in internal controls.
This is NOT and should NOT be a partisan issue. It's about the financial and operational condition of the United States Government and its Agencies.
