The Toase District Court has struck out a case involving a teacher and a student of Nyinahin Catholic Senior High School over a widely circulated campus assault video.
Speaking after the court proceedings, Ashanti Regional GNAT Chairman Elvis Binney urged civil society groups and community members to avoid prejudicial remarks and threats against the teacher. The court had earlier encouraged an out-of-court settlement between the parties.
