"You Died As A Hero": Young Widow's Emotional Tribute As Husband Is Buried In Mass Grave With Colleagues Killed By Terrorists Who Attacked Their Civilian Watchpost
Exactly! Heaven is not just for good people, it is for redeemed people, people that believe in Jesus, tried, tested, forgiven and washed in the blood of Jesus.
@FERNAND73471609@Thevine_ntwk Jesus while on earth gave teachings and laid principles which if you follow can guide you into your purpose and eternal rest. Some of the answers you need, only he can give you. Maybe you need to take your arguments to Jesus directly, dont you think?
@FERNAND73471609@Thevine_ntwk Cosmic extortion😂. I repeat every action has consequences. Even earthly laws follow the same principles. You accept firing squad and life imprisonment as earthly punishment for sins, yet argue and deny punishment for disobeying and rejecting your God.
I think the most misunderstood verse in the Bible is Romans 8:28.
We quote it as a comfort verse.
But it is actually one of the boldest declarations in scripture.
It does not say God will make everything comfortable.
It says He will make everything work together for good.
That means the betrayal is working.
The loss is working.
The delay is working.
The pain is working.
All of it.
Simultaneously.
Toward something good.
His eyes have seen unspeakable bloodshed. His feet have grown weary from funeral after funeral — burying his own church members slaughtered by Fulani jihadists seizing ancestral lands and imposing mini-caliphates in villages south of Jos.
But Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo will not break. In the heart of Plateau State, central Nigeria, he stays to encourage the living and keep the faith alive.
THEY DRILLED INTO THE HILL BY MOUNT ARARAT.
For decades the experts rolled their eyes at the idea that the Durupınar formation could be Noah’s Ark. Same length the Bible describes. Anchor stones nearby. Sitting exactly where Genesis puts the landing. Now an international team is finally pulling cores, a drill bit snapped on something harder than limestone inside the hull outline, and suddenly the story is “okay, maybe it’s a boat, but that doesn’t mean it’s the Ark.”
Funny how the goalposts move the second the Bible starts looking less like a fairy tale.
I don’t need a lab tech in Turkey to tell me Scripture is true. But I’m watching this one. If those cores come back as ancient wood under that mound, a lot of smug people are going to have a very bad week.
The Bible told us where Noah's Ark landed. 4,000 years later, they're drilling right there.
Genesis 8:4: "The ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat."
This week, scientists started drilling into a 515-foot, boat-shaped formation in the mountains of Ararat in eastern Turkey. Radar scans show angular walls, a central corridor, and three levels underground. Genesis 6:16 says the ark had three decks.
The right place. The right shape. The right size. The right number of decks.
Skeptics said the Hittites never existed, until their capital was dug up. They said Pontius Pilate was a legend, until his name turned up carved in stone. They said King David was a myth, until an ancient inscription named "the house of David."
Every time, the ground ends up agreeing with the Bible.
The Ark was real. The Flood was real. God's Word was always true.
Our Calling as Nigerians Is To Be Spiritual Revivalist. We Not Made to Be Building Engines Like The Chinese — Apostle Arome Osayi
Apostle Arome Osayi has said Nigeria’s purpose as a nation goes beyond its economic and political struggles, insisting that the country has a spiritual calling to spark revival and spread the gospel to other nations.
Speaking in a sermon, Osayi said Nigerians should not compare themselves with countries such as China by simply pointing out their achievements in manufacturing while reducing Nigeria’s activities to prayer, because nations have callings.
“Our calling as a nation is revival. God wants to generate something from here that He will export to the nations of the world. This is His covenant with this nation,” he said.
He further claimed that Nigeria’s early Christian leaders interceded and sought God over the nation’s purpose, leading to what he described as a revelation that Nigeria would provide missionary manpower to help spread the gospel globally.
He said, “We are a key player,we are a stakeholder in end time matters.”
Osayi also attributed some of Nigeria’s challenges to what he described as spiritual opposition, saying Nigerians are often too focused on issues such as the naira and political power to recognise what he considers the nation’s larger spiritual assignment.
“We are not seeing beyond the Naira, we are not seeing beyond Aso Rock,” he said, adding that Nigerians should understand the significance of the present times.
Addressing ministers, he said their current assignments could be preparation for greater responsibilities, noting, “He is using the ground to mature you so that He can send you to the place where you will manifest the strength of your sceptre.”
He concluded with a call for determination, asking his audience to declare “We will not retreat! We will not surrender!”
It is foolishness to want to spend eternity with a God you had no time for on earth.
You had time for work, money, entertainment, relationships and everything else.
But God? “No time.”
Yet you expect death to suddenly make you desire Him?
If you want eternity with God, know Him now.
Seek Him now. Love Him now. Surrender to Him now.
“Now is the day of salvation.” — 2 Corinthians 6:2
It just hit me for the first time that, soooo many decades after Pharaoh killed the newborn babies of the Israelites, God took the firstborn of every Egyptian household. There was not one house without a death the night of the Passover.
You cannot read the Old Testament without learning a couple of things: 1. God tells very long stories, 2. God‘s people can go many, many years without a big moment of interaction or deliverance, 3. God never leaves a narrative unfinished or, to make up a word, unvengeanced.
I truly find the Old Testament as comforting as the New. Mostly because they are one, big, AMAZING story, and He is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow. So how He reveals Himself in the entire long Book is exactly who He is today.
The conclusion? Be on His team, walk in His ways, and pray without ceasing.
"My money is our money, and my husband's money is our money. That's the principle that works in my house"
This is my orientation too; all my money is for the growth of my family, nothing less and nothing more.
Exactly. I tell women following me, no matter how much you think you have, you should not speak to your husband rudely, either publicly or privately.
Money should not determine your respect, love, kindness, understanding and empathy.
If you cannot respect your husband in his lowest, then you are a terrible wife.
