Yesterday, I passed by the Mulago traffic lights, and I was impressed by what I saw.
Police officers in FFU uniforms were arresting motorcyclists who had violated traffic lights.

I hope this operation is sustained and expanded across the entire city.
At Mulago's Emergency and Casualty Department, accident victims arrive almost every minute, and many of these cases involve boda bodas.

What makes motorcyclists in Uganda believe they are exempt from traffic rules and regulations? Why do we have traffic lights, traffic cameras, and officers deployed across the city?

It is time we all became concerned about the number of lives we continue to lose to accidents caused by negligence, lawlessness, and recklessness.
