"Right now, we need deep lineage-based work. We need deeper breath, a slower, deeper, wider stance. We need to know that we've been here and we're not going anywhere." @adriennemaree@endoftheworldPC

We have been hard at work and this is years in the making....want to build abolitionist safety and security skills....want to learn how to address violence in a group, on your block, at an action... We created a whole school for ya. @chejlong @visionchangewin

But for real tho...we’re watching this Black “allyship” and fake solidarity become it’s own strategy within capitalism. Companies, shit the NFL, have not suddenly understood that #BlackLivesMatter but that they can make more money pretending to care about us than being silent.
Some of y’all are doing the work to fight for Black liberation. Some of y’all are protesting out of guilt for listing Black folks in your deliverables. And some of y’all are protesting to use it as an excuse, the next time folks call you anti-Black.
Every Black organizer I know is exhausted. I just support movements and I’m a wreck. Non-Black people I don’t care how tired you are, and I have no space to hear about your trauma. Do what you need to do, but don’t talk to me about your how hard it is to witness our genocide.
Join us at "We Got You! QTPOC Artists on Mental Health and Healing Justice" this Tuesday, May 19th, at 6pm PST!
