@Jimmy_Mundell 4. Hiring, training and org culture can play a HUGE role. It’s a part of fixing the larger problem. And there are a lot more parts to fix as well (education, housing, etc). But the lack of opportunity keeps poor black and brown folks in despair.

@Jimmy_Mundell 3. More exposure and understanding of POC and more access to higher paying jobs would play a huge role in combatting a system that exploits blacks because they are poor and many people just don’t feel empathy for them because of distance socially. So I think

@Jimmy_Mundell 2. Poverty is the backdrop for a lot of these issues. If POC are hired for high paying jobs, are promoted and if org could develop a culture of inclusion— we’d be more normalized to Others . Versus them having to rely on false stereotypes.
