Our school building was treated to a fantastic line up for #wrad today! Thanks to everyone who joined this afternoon as so many students were inspired! #jjsecretagents@eboxer
What an impactful book with a bold, inspirational voice. 3 sisters who migrated from Puerto Rico to the Bronx show us the power of perseverance to create meaningful change, by holding people and institutions accountable for discrimination. @Soaring20sPB

This biography is a literary work of art. I especially love @Soaring20sPB Angela Kunkel's descriptions of color as metaphors for Barbara Cooney's refusal to live or create in a black-and white world. Becca Stadtlander's illustrations are stunning. A really special book.
A masterfully-woven tale of hilarity, hijinks + heart! Written by @COffsay, the cumulative structure builds laughter + suspense, while the ending emphasizes the satisfaction of compromise and community. A perfect read-aloud, w/adorable illustrations by @Soaring20sPB Abi Cushman🐭
SO much to love about this book, and so much to learn from it. @Soaring20sPB@PatriciaNewman pulls the reader into a fascinating world of elephant communication. I found myself really relating to the elephants... feeling joy at their reunions, and grief over their losses.❤️
