Every country in the world has:
- farms,
- crime.

Farms all over the world are secluded and vulnerable.

But only in South Africa do you have the brutal torture and execution of farmers, weekly.

Only in South Africa, do you have:
- Political parties chanting about killing farmers.
- The governing party threatening that they will “take back the land” and admitting to targeting farms with violence historically.
- Refusal of government to designate the murders a priority crime despite the rate being 3x the national average and despite receiving pressure from the US.
- Disbandment of a special rural crime unit, by the government.
- The president saying “there is no murdering of farmers” at the UN.

South Africa is not the only country with violent crime, but only in South Africa are farm murders a problem.

Why is that?
