@flyrrs Maybe if no expectations are on a team, you can say they'll be fine because they'll be in a better situation next summer. But this team situation took a big step back this summer after having high hopes to close the season.

@NHL_Muse Ducks lost a bunch of key players and still are going to have trouble getting under the cap. And cutter isnt taking a discount. Ducks fans don't seem concerned though.

@JoshInnesShow I agree. Im not saying I prefer WIP...I actually cant stand them. But they will always win in the ratings. It just tells me that I can't really relate to the majority of listeners.

@JoshInnesShow I cant figure it out but WIP will win every time. The hosts could swap stations, and WIP would still win by a landslide. They just have a following that cant branch out and try something new. Their "regulars" is why I can't listen to them.

@justinritzel I don't know what the sharks cap situation is, but I think people were saying the ducks cap is ruined, because their cap was already tight, and they need to pay Gauthier yet. BTW, has any of that been ironed out yet?

@CrossingBroad Both stations are unlistenable right now. I usually like 97.5, but this gitty girl, "LeBron chose us" "this is the biggest signing in Philly history" "97.5 Lebron" puke show is so immature and amateur. You're grown men professionals. Grow up!

@goalfarabee86 That's what I don't get. They cant win without top end talent. Everyone just assumes that will happen even though it rarely happens. You'll see examples sprinkled around the league over the years, but the flyers never get it done.

@Anth_Chatburn I was thinking more of where they are in their careers. Crosby was one of the best ever, but now he's older and not in his prime, but he can still contribute. I don't think getting LeBron is as big as everyone is making it out to be. It's just the name.

@Anth_Chatburn I told my friends earlier today that the sixers got McKinnon and Crosby this summer. McKinnon may be better than Brown, but Crosby is a decent LeBron comparison

@TheLibertyYell I was telling my friends woll and achiarri vs LeBron and Brown. Luchanko and Nesbitt vs Maxey and Edgecomb. Carlssons offer sheet was just a strategy by his agent to get more money, and they were hoping the ducks matched. Sucks I cant stand the sixers.

@justinghockey What is everyone's obsession with anaheim. Carlson looks good. Cutter is already a 40 goal scorer. Then what? And they have cap issues. Their defense is horrible and they lost a few guys this summer.

@BrianLindones1 @B_Sommermann It sounds like Carlson's agent held out for an offer sheet why wouldn't every good player do that? If Danny offers Martone and Michkov $10M, what's the harm in them saying "no thanks...I'll wait"? Then the flyers have to match whatever the offer sheet is.

@Ywolok My problem with the flyers is they might have enough to get to mid May from this "rebuild". I just don't see a way they can get any player to get them to June. All they have is money. Either a team will match their money, or the flyers will overspend on someone.
