Dalawang Philippine Eagle ang nasawi sa magkahiwalay na insidente ng electrocution sa Mindanao, ayon sa Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF).

Noong Oct. 1, natagpuang patay ang Philippine Eagle na si “Salay” sa Barangay Guinalaban, Salay, Misamis Oriental. Tatlong araw matapos nito, isa pang Philippine Eagle na si “Libertad” ang natagpuang patay sa Barangay Libertad, Arakan, North Cotabato.
