I actually see (to a degree) why people give up all their precautions. Because constantly asking people to protect you (& often being denied), and living life with next to no in person community is hard as hell. I'm not changing a thing, but damn am I burnt tf out.
No one is more annoyed by the AI revolution than people who can actually write a sentence. Basically, having any ability to write now is suspect - you will get accused of being AI at some point. It feels like you are being accused of being a witch, of holding a type of rare magic that only the machines are now allowed to have.
It's widely accepted that hantavirus transmits from rodent excreta to humans via inhalation of aerosolized virus, so I don't understand why we're so reluctant to acknowledge the inhalation route for human-to-human transmission.

I think one of the hardest things about being a Covid-Conscious therapist is the fact that all Covid-Conscious people are actively being traumatized. There's no post- anything, this is happening now. So many modalities I've studied throughout my life focus on past trauma 1/2
@CBSNews Y’all told us we didn’t need to wear a mask six years ago and now I’ve had long Covid for six years, so forgive me if I think you’re not being careful enough.
But anyway, I’ll get off my soapbox. Too tired but the point is: had we normalized masking on flights, the likelihood of a global Hantavirus pandemic would be significantly lower than it is right now. Had we taught good public health practices, ppl would know what they are
The reason millennials are so nostalgic is that they got a brief taste of a world that wasn’t entirely controlled by the stupidest people who’ve ever lived.
Please don't forget that the only difference between you and a disabled person is time. Even if the disability is temporary, it will happen in your lifetime. Disability is part of the human condition. Advocating for disability rights is advocating for your inevitable future.
