It was an awesome first day at the Palo Alto county fair! 27 healthy baby pigs were born, a few chicks hatched and the students worked hard to keep all the animals cool in the hot July heat. Congrats to Rachel Miner on Champion and Reserve in the poultry show!

The first sow has began farrowing! Swing down to the fair to check out the newest animals at the fair!

Make sure to stop by the Emmetsburg FFA learning center this week at the fair! The Combine and milking simulator will be running Thursday-Saturday. Sows will be farrowing Friday and chicks will be hatching Friday and Saturday!
