what it feels like to switch to bluesky, knowing that unlike twitter, it is not owned & governed by a dangerously ignorant, fascist, transphobic billionaire whose inflated ego may doom us all
ideally our culture’s chosen mass communication platform is not owned + controlled by a transphobic creep with an alarming combination of wealth, power, & stupidity 👍
from now on my usage of twitter will be exclusively reserved for the promotion of its rapidly growing rival.

i guess for me, the main selling point is that it feels nice to not have one’s access to information tied to the whims of society’s most cartoonish global supervillain

The US just vetoed *another* UN Security Council resolution. It demanded "an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire" & "immediate and unconditional release of all hostages."
