« My whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service. »
We join the nation as we mourn for the loss of Her Majesty The Queen.
Thank you for your service Ma’am.
@migrants_rights @ecaa_delays My 11-year-old son now has an anxiety. He is afraid that they will die without seeing their grandparents. We have been waiting for the result of the visa for 18 months and we cannot go out of the country.
Pleasure to chair. It is clearer than ever that travel restrictions caused by Home Office delays are costing the U.K. economy investment from entrepreneurs.
It is a callous treatment of people who have been waiting so long, leaving people in limbo with next to no communication.
@maybulman@LHreports Not only did May write about ECAA delays, but she’s also a speaker at our event on “Delays with Home Office: its impact on life and business”.
@maybulman@LHreports Dear May, congratulations on your new role! To this day, you remain the only journalist who wrote about the ECAA delays. Thank you for having been our voice. See you tomorrow!
Is this an error of Home Office and the pressure of post-Covid build up or is it an intimidation policy to get ECAA visa holders to voluntarily leave the country after Brexit? Will Join us on Tuesday 19th of July @pritipatel@YvetteCooperMP ?
Migrants’ rights campaigners describe the delays as among the worst in a beleaguered immigration system.
The majority had been told the delay in the decision was due to the case being ‘complex but lives are held at a standstill due to delays from the Home Office.
The delay is leaving people without the right to rent homes, enrol children in school or travel abroad. Visa holders are losing work, unable to visit dying family members or have important surgery outside the UK.
Thousands’ of ECAA extension (Turkish Businessperson) & ILR visa applicants have been left in limbo awaiting to hear from the Home Office, some as long as 24 months.
Thousands of Turkish citizens in the UK are thought to have been left “living in limbo” due to post-Brexit delays in extending their visas https://t.co/lBU7jL9ELO
