Asian Americans benefit from affirmative action. Regardless of race or ethnicity, all students benefit from the diverse classrooms created by affirmative action. #DefendDiversity#AffirmativeAction@aaldef@CAPAC
We are outside the Supreme Court now. Many students of color face educational barriers BECAUSE of their race. Affirmative action simply takes this factor into account, bc ignoring race means ignoring the systemic disadvantages that BIPOC students unfairly endure. #DefendDiversity
"Affirmative action is successful because it opens doors for people who would otherwise be excluded — and because it recognizes that everyone benefits from having diverse perspectives at the table."
Asian Americans support race-conscious admissions. We will not be used as a racial wedge and we are solidarity with other long-marginalized communities of color to demand the representation we deserve. #DefendDiversity
Grateful and proud to be a part of AALDEF’s amicus brief in support of affirmative action and holistic admissions. Asian/Americans want to be seen as our whole selves and race must be taken into account!
“Asian Americans benefit from affirmative action, and all students benefit from the diverse student body that affirmative action cultivates.” On behalf of 121 orgs and educators, @aaldef filed an amicus brief in support of race-conscious admissions: https://t.co/gTBgXureoq

Today ECAASU mourns the lives lost in the 9/11 attacks, as well as for the countless people whose lives were changed because of it. We specifically want to call to attention the Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, South Asian, and North African people harmed by the US response.
