ECA President and CEO Todd Helfrich spoke about workforce development in our region at a breakfast this morning sponsored by the @NASRCC along with the Saratoga Builders Association and the Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association.
A panel discussion with legislators from across the region also took place, providing insight on Career and Technical Education (CTE) funding, initiatives, advocacy and more at the state level.
The 1st annual @CapRegionBOCES National #SigningDay was a success with local students signing letters of intent with local businesses. Among the students signing a letter of intent was Stephen Cote who will enter the #UBC apprenticeship & will work for contractor AOW Associates.
Our inaugural National Signing Day was a success with 16 students signing letters of intent with businesses as dignitaries, family & educators looked on. Congratulations!
