My Spirit decolonizes today by understanding that the emergence of feminism is simply a restoration to the natural balance of the universe. Everything is a duality, like night and day, light and darkness, and the imbalance the patriarchy brought on isn't natural.

Today, I decolonized by relearning and reconnecting to the use of a rebozo. The rebozo was traditionally a rite of passage. It was there to welcome us as babies, give us warmth as we were nourished, serve as a picnic blanket, and help us carry things.
